Job Description​
  • Prepares, arranges and serves all food according to the standard set by the Executive Chef.
  • Does mise en place, preparations, cooking and arranging of food as instructed.
  • Coordinates activities of Commis cooks and kitchen stewards to ensure an efficient and smooth food service.
  • Controls cost by minimizing spoilage, waste and exercising portions control.
  • Handles machines, furniture, equipment and utensils the proper way and maintain their cleanliness.
  • Attends training classes, staff meetings and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Makes use of standard recipes and presentations, set by the chef.
  • Follows established procedures and performs special duties as may be assigned by this supervisors.
  • Takes care of his personnel cleanliness, his uniforms and hotel property.
  • Follows and check his sections working schedule as planned and obeys all hotel regulations, schedules and break times of staff an a daily basis.
  • Graduation /Diploma in Hotel Management
  • 1 – 10 years of experience
  • Average communication skills
  • Property: Peninsula Red-Pine Hotel
  • Primary Location: India-Maharashtra
  • Pay Basis: Monthly in Indian Rupees (INR)
